Great!

I just wondered what the walking group is doing either Easter weekend or the following weekend (after the Royal Wedding).  I've rather lost track of where we are in the fortnightly excursions but we are in Lanzarote both of those weekends and if I promise not to lag behind taking photos can we come on a walk please?

I can't remember when Easter is, but the walks are 3rd and 17th. Let me know when you're here, and we can sort something out anyway

I've just looked at the calendar.  Easter is very late and it looks as if it will be between walking weekends - Easter Sunday is 24th April.  The following Sunday is 1st May and perhaps we can actually join the official walking group then unless you close down for the May Day holiday!

No, we're planning one then.  Probably Caldera Blanca.

Hi. Can I find out about the walking group - can anyone join in? Me and my husband have recently moved to the island and would love to do some walks to discover the places we haven't been to yet.

Thanks,

Sue

John we'll be on the island from before midday on 21 April to late afternoon on 2 May - if I've already put that in a private message apologies for repeating myself but on re reading this thread I realised that I rudely hadn't answered your question!

You would probably be the only one NOT lagging behind taking photos!

Except me of course....

I can never remember to take my bloody camera!

Clanky I was referring to a special walk John arranged for New Year's weekend when some of the group went walking through La Geria when I was trying out my new camera.  I was a bit slow!

Ye, and faced with Mr Josie going at the speed of heat, engrossed in light airplane talk with a fellow pilot, and Josie doing a David Bailey so that the group was spread over half of La Geria, I had to act as ringmaster/sheepdog, and was branded a tyrant.  Honestly, the demands of leadership!
