Andy and Jenny Cowan have just (about an hour ago) taken up residence in Carabela in PB. Andy is a Ryanair captain, and Jenny is the proud mother of a toddler and a brand new baby. Welcome to Lanzarote!

Where I live
Ah, so Roach flicking distance then No but we were caravanning once on the German shore of Lake Constance, and I put my foot in a shoe which had been outside all night and my bare foot came in contact with a large slug. I was so outraged, I used the shoe as a sling, and I think the slug found itself in Switzerland!

Why didn't Steve McQueen think of a shoe powered sling, he'd have been ok then.

I stayed in a hotel for nearly a year on the side of lake constance (Bodensee) in a place called Lindau - while working with the Dornier company.

Did you go to Schloss Neuschwanstein? Ludwig might have been mad, but he certainly embraced state of the art engineering. Almost outdid Cragside.
We were staying at Ach in the Allgäu not far from Lindau. You were presumably in the former Zeppelin Werke where they made Dornier flying boats?
Sorry, thread creep on my own thread - well Andy is a Ryanair captain, so not too bad!
