League Cup semi final Aston Villa v Tranmere in 93 - when the penalties were being taken I really wanted to hide under my seat - and not even a real Tranmere fan, but it was sooooo tense Shocked

Downsides though were the shocking state of the ladies loos at Villa and the total lack of anything vocal from the villa fans - they had to be encouraged by the digital display FFS Roll Eyes

Ooooh that's a hard one Dixie as I've got a few and just pipping the play off final where we beat Norwich at the Millenium Stadium has to be the 1991 Leyland Daf final at Wembley.
I remember that day for a thrilling match ( v Tranmere) and 2 of the best goals ever scored in a Blues shirt (if not at Wembley) by big John Gayle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrqYMWlQ4tM

This is so true and we've took the p*ss for years about the fact they need to be prompted. Grin

Only ever attended one match - and that was rubbish lol.

It was Pompey vs a French team. We won!

I was only there to impress a boyfriend LOL

Two games stand out, both in the Nou Camp.

United 2 Bayern 1
Barca 3 - United 3.

Great memories of a brilliant stadium and a fantastic city.

Also the 3-3 draw with the Scousers at Anfield in 93/94 stands out, we were 3-0 and I was gutted to only draw the game, but the match was magnificent.

Tottenham 3 Arsenal 1 (April 14, 1991 at Wembley) – one of the best days of my life!

Also, Tottenham 5 Arsenal 1 (January 22, 2008). I remember everyone on the tube singing all the way home. Unfortunately we couldn't wind any Gooners up on the journey because they'd all left at half time!

i think the best competitive match was either a 3-0 against Liverpool in 2008 or the 4-0 Carling cup win over Wigan. However i reckon for sheer atmosphere it has to be Keano's testimonial against Celtic. Unbelievable stuff (especially from OT - if our fans were like that each week i reckon we would have an even better home record)
