Nice for an afternoon drink

I popped in here yesterday with Ali, her husband, John B, Smokie & Mrs Smokie for a drinkie yesterday afternoon.

We sat on the terrace, which was lovely and spacious... and partook of some liquid refreshments.

Ann was serving us and was very friendly and helpful... without being overbearing.

We didn't eat yesterday, but when I popped my head around the corner of the kitchen to speak to Ann I saw a couple of salads that she was preparing for someone else, and they looked fantastic! I'0d definitely go for lunch next time.

Thanks again Ann - we enjoyed our time with you yesterday.

100% agreed Elle, Lanz is known for it's fine evening food, but is also lovely in the afternoon. Great place to sup a (2 Euro) pint, with fantastic sea views.

Yeah - I used to like that terrace when it was Jaspar's too - so it's nice that we still get to enjoy it.

They'll be doing live music in the evenings soon too! Apparently they tried a Bolivian guitarist the other night and it went down really well. I always think it's nice to have a bit of ambient music whilst dining.

Love the idea of that Elle, something fairly different for The Strip.

Had a drink with Harry when we were last over, and he's constantly thinking of new ideas to keep Lanz going strong. Really like the sound of a Bolivian guitarist!
