Just returned from 1st visit to Lanzarote. Our favorite place (where we spent many afternoons and nights) was the Irish Anvil Bar.
Many thanks to the brilliant staff - Claire, Carlos,Connor,James and Sal to name just a few.
The food was excellent, the bar was welcoming and the service 2nd to none.
Thanks for a great holiday, we really felt at home.

hello there everyone i have just returned from holiday and must say the irish anvil was my favourite what a lovely pub and food was excellent! i was wondering if anybody knew the name of one of the barmen the only way to describe him is he seemed to be the only guy in there with blonde (fairish) colour hair im asking as i thought he was quite cute and wouldlike to thank him for the lemon he gave me! (wont bore u with details) if anyone knows how i could contact him please please email me (matilda1975@hotmail.co.uk) many thanks to u all.

Just got back from playa blanca and just want to say a big thank you to all the staff at anvil they were great.
The food was good entertainment was great .and the young barmaid sarah was very helpful,we never got to say good bye to her could you pass this on.cheers andy
