Hi guys,
Flying this Saturday (whoo hoo!). Just a quickie about the airport. Ive 'splashed out' lol and gone for the priority boarding with Ryanair, can anyone tell me of the airplanes are linked to the tunnel at the airport or do you need to get a bus to the plane?
Deano

Hi Dean. Always been a tunnel in my experience. Make sure you follow the rules exactly with regard to luggage and boarding passes and you will be fine. Have a great holiday.

We've normally been attached to a tunnel but have had to get a bus a couple of times when the airport has been busy. Have a great holiday

I always used to pray for the bus when I used to have hot holidays... as there was nothing nicer for me than getting off the plane into that heat. Now we have to wait until we get outside the buildings most times.

I don't know if I have posted this already on here or possibly on the other forum, but one of the funniest things I have ever seen was a guy who made a big show of pushing to the front of the boarding queue for a Ryan Air flight, loudly telling everyone that he had priority boarding, only to be the first person to board the bus and therefore the last one off it.
He tried to push through the queue at the bottom of the aircraft stairs and was ignored by everyone, he then complained loudly to the ground staff who quite obviously couldn't care less.
As he was walking uip the aisle on the plane, one of the other passengers asked "how is that priority boarding working out for you then?" I thought the guy was going to cry.

It can be amusing. Jen and I got the first Ryan scare flight this year to Bournemouth. There were only 25 passengers on board. The chappie running to the front of the queue shouthing "priority boarding" "priority boarding" frankly looked a bit of a cock.

I've been watching the Ryanair / Bournemouth flights... but it seems the winter schedule isn't happening there this year - well apart from Christmas Day that is... and I?m not travelling then!

Yeah - gutted! I wanted cheapo flights for early December... but looks like I'll have to go to Gatwick, which means a really nasty return flight time. Am off to see my Mummy, have a business meeting, spend some time with the wonderful Josie, and see my lovely ladies. But only one of my ladies knows - so do keep this conversation off Facebook or the surprise will be ruined.

Seeing as its my 1st time with the lovely RA - any tips - I know about luggage and have weighed mine (kept them well under) - also know about the hand luggage (the cage is smaller at the gate) - but anything else that's important for a RA virgin? ? ? ?

Buy something to eat on the plane before you board Karen - as their inflight stuff is pricey and not very tasty. Heaven forbid you ever suffer their Chili Con Carne!
I'd also take some reading material with you as there are no movies etc... and the seat back get boring after ooh... 3 seconds!
Aside from that, I've always found in inflight crew to be friendly and helpful.
