well I was impressed with Easyjet when I use them in Nov - so open minded - not getting caught on the weight - seems to be the biggest problem - but not for me hubby has calibrated scales so job done!!!

It's a plane - it gets you where you are going.

They aren't that bad Karen, if...

1. You read the rules carefully.
2. Have no expectations.

If you need to do it in Lanzarote you can get them printed at the Bookswop in PdC (I would gues the others do it too)

Alan + Clanky + everyone thanks - think I've read all the rules (carefully!!) - and hope to have return passes printed before I leave UK (but good to know where to get printed if needed) - you never know I might be that impressed that I use them again - (wait better see how it goes  Grin)

Well I thought that I'd add my update to this thread - I have used Ryanair again and so has my daughter - can't fault them, also had to ring their customer service department on sunday - they closed at 5.00 and I rang at 4.55 - the lady on the end of the phone was one of the most polite and helpful people I have had to deal with in a long time - so credit where its due.
I have found that the planes are comfortable with more legroom than Monarch or Thompson - I've not gone for the priority boarding and always managed to sit together with everyone - the drinks and snacks are similar prices to the other airlines.
The flights I have been on have always landed on time if not early - even if they've taken off late, cabin staff are always polite and friendly.
I have applied for and received my cash passport from them and now look forward to not paying the £6 per person per flight (ie £12 for a return flight).
Also they always seem to be the cheapest as long as you book well in advance

Couldn't agree more - flown with them 9 times inthe last 8  months never had any problems. As long as you do what they say! They seem to have a magic half hour - as you say even if you take off late you land on time.

and I booked a flight for my daughters yesterday and paid with my Ryanair 'cash passport' - no added fees - nice when something works like it should - only problem and it was my fault I forgot to redeem my £6 voucher (that's the £6 they charge you for the card, then give you back in the form of a voucher) so will have to use it next time.
