Congratulations to John B who has just phoned from Orzola. This means that he has now completed his walk all the way around Lanzarote. Well done John! Next job is to do it all in one go!  Wink

Nice one, John.
Just one question, was it clockwise you did it or anti clockwise.
Just asking, don't feel that you have to do both.
No pressure.
Well, go on then, you might as well.  Grin
Seriously, well done.

See I wouldn't be quite as harsh as that Smokie, so long as each leg was done in the same direction it should still count as a once round the island, it was all in the same direction wasn't it John?

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Seriously though, very well done.

About 47 hours or 20 months, depending if you count having a life too!

Thanks for the thanks, it was a great walk.  fortunately, it was a little overcast most of the time and there was a breeze - it got up to 32C later and would have been difficult.  We started at the Jameos del Agua, and walked the 6 miles or so to the ferry terminal in Orzola, had the compulsory beer to celebrate, then walked back to the car.  We then drove back nearly to Orzola for a refreshing swim in a lovely lagoon.
