Hotels in Caleta de Fuste

We have just been invited to a wedding in Fuerteventura next June!  We have never been on the island before, so delighted to have an excuse to go there! 

At this stage, we just know that the wedding is in Caleta de Fuste, and we are planning to stay there for a week, so looking for advice on which hotels are worth booking.  Would also consider staying 3 nights at Caleta de Fuste and the remaining 4 nights in Corralejo, so feel free to suggest either location!


We are a bit spoiled when it comes to hotels, so bear that in mind when recommending!

For location I'd go for Barcelo Fuerteventura Thalasso Spa. TBH, although I ever only spent a day in Corralejo, I didn't really like the feel of it. I'd recommend basing yourself in Caleta and getting a car for 3 or 4 days to explore El Cortllo and the south of the Island.

Sounds good to me!  Will definitely have to rent a car as we always like to see as much as possible of anywhere we visit.  We are hoping to spend a second week in Lanzarote when the wedding is over, to chill out at our own place before we head home.
