Hi to all you who wished the Curtain Thieves good luck with the release of their first single.  Well, it made it to number 35 in the Irish Charts, which isn't bad considering they're an unsigned band.

Anyhow, here's the video that they have just loaded up on You Tube so when you're listening to the lovely strains of the Thieves melodic voices you can admire their handsome faces too!  :-)

My baby is the hairy drummer!  (Although, he's all clean cut now and the head of curls is a fading memory, so nice to have it immortalised on You Tube so we'll never forget how his hair used to bounce all over the place when he was drumming!)

Hope you all enjoy!

Hi CG - glad you got the link!

They're a great bunch of lads and I really love that tune!  The next song that they want to release is even better, but it's almost 5 minutes long, so too much ideally for radio play.  They're trying to make a shorter version of the song at the moment, but it's not a standard verse/chorus, verse/chorus type of song.  It builds up over the minutes, with different sections and it's interspersed with different parts written for the different instruments.

Anyhow, they'll get it sorted, and please God in a few years when you turn on your telly to watch the Saturday night chat shows, you'll be seeing the Curtain Thieves doing their stuff!   Grin Grin
