Hey everyone
As those of you that live around Playa Blanca you might have noticed a couple of subtle changes in the bar over the past couple of weeks! After a lot of deliberation I have decided to take a back seat (or more like a bar stool) at WAX and so Helen & Mark have bought in and are taking over the reins ... so no longer will you have to look at my miserable face when you order a pint, you'll just have to lean over me!
Helen and Mark have had close family on the island for many years and themselves made the move with their kids in 2007 ... although Mark is a liverpool fan I decided that I wouldn't let that put me off and still went ahead with the handover of the keys! I will be handing over this login to Helen so that she can keep you updated on all that is happening down at the bar and I will reappear (when I'm back from my family visits) here with my new login!
So i'll be the first to ...
welcome Helen & Mark
... to the forum and of course wish them more than the
best of luck with the bar and 2008!

See you at the bar for the Chelsea - Liverpool match then -at least now I can guarantee Mr C that it will be on  Tell Mark to get on here - does he do RAWK? |

Cheers Phil for the warm welcome.
Wax is still the same entertaining, fun, discount prices, lounge & sports bar.

You think they look wild in this photo taken at 1.30am, you should have seen them in jungle later! Helen did you see the new advertising shoot Phil took of me that night? The SHAME OF IT!
