Cheesy Havent been on in a while..... work work and more work.

But we have only 72 sleeps to go now till we move to Playa Blanca, cats are booked on the flight and we have most things in place,

However the only 1 problem we have, and it is quite a big one, is still no rental property available.

We have got a holiday villa booked for the 1st month and have Ange from Playa blanca properties keeping us updated.

  Fingers crossed x

Can anyone tell me if im better bringing over euros or changing them over there? does anyone know the rate at the moment you are
getting on the island sterling to euro?

I can then check at my work whats the best deal. Also how easy is it to pick up a sky dish only and get someone to install this?
             Thanks Again Patsy Grin

Hi,

we moved over at the start of august.  I brought sterling with me and changed it up here, the rate at the time was 1.09 at home and 1.13 here, so if you are changing up quite a lot it does make a difference.  You have to shop around, because the rates vary from place to place.  Also with regards to property I think you will find it easier to find somewhere once you get here.  When we looked there wasn't really that much choice and one house we were going to look at went an hour before we got to view it, but I'm sure you will find something.

good luck
