You know, Clanky you're absolutely right!  And it's all down to how those wonderful little Chimps hold their arms firmly at their sides throughout their routine!  Whoever taught them their Traditional Irish Dancing taught them well!  ..... None of the "Light Aircraft" Arms that we see in the Flatley routines!   

Honestly love the video, but in truth I am a Closet Fan of MF!!!  He is the most irritating, nauseating, cocky little fecker on the planet, but when he dances I can forgive him all of that because he sets the stage alight with his performance.  Truly took my breath away when I last saw him on the O2 stage in Dublin.  (And he was a pound or 30 heavier than he was when I saw him back in the 90's!)
