A speaker from Network Rail showed us this video today - it's the first part of a major redevelopment of the station at Reading.

Looks dull initially but bear with it.

Took 4.5 days over last Christmas.

It doesn't look straight to me, hadn't they another two minutes to redo it properly?

Joise just spotted this  -  its a step in the right direction - just need to get rid of the horrible buildings opposite the station - then it'll start to look better for people arriving by train xx

Well if you can find the odd £100m or so (at least) of financing, the Station Hill development might be able to get off the ground.
