Not a posting regarding the biggest sporting event this year, no rugby fans here ? Come on Ireland !!!! Not a chance though if I'm being a realist.

Rugby is a game played by men with odd shaped balls.

It's also played by women BTW, if men had balls the shape they use in the ugly game, they really should see a doctor.

Wales - South Africa was a cracking game, was absolutely gutted for Wales, other than that the rugby has been rubbish so far, the last World Cup was much the same to be honest.
Ireland - not a chance
England - not a chance unless they really sort out their discipline
Scotland - not a chance unless they play in kilts and have their opponents standing around looking bemused for 80 minutes
Wales - if they can play the way they did against South Africa they might just surprise a few people.

I agree, Clanky, the Welsh were excellent, and it was a great game, unlike the others. Pity they can't invent a ball that flies straight when you kick it!

I just thought South Africa were very poor myself and made the Welsh look good. I agree that nobody is playing great rugby at the moment but who wants to peak in the first few days of a 6 week tournament?

They already have done, they were using it right up until this tournament.

I think England will do their usual "rocky" style stunt and make the final after some dire performances. I agree clanky Ireland have little or no chance, I secretly fancied Wales after their warm up games they looked pretty sharp, particularly priestland and warburton, hooks looked "wrong" at 15 nt sure hat that's about. Deep down I hope the all blacks win it, I've always loved Their style of play, Aussies looking sharp too.

I like watching Rugby.
Thought the England match was a tad boring, but quite enjoyed Scotland v Georgia this morning.

I don't care who wins as long as it's not France (or anywhere south of the equator)

Fair play to the Irish today as that was a cracking performance and a well deserved victory.
