I must say that I smiled when I saw the results as although I live not far from Edgbaston, I hate Warks with a passion and they were so sure they were going to win it.  Grin  Grin

Kent fan myself.  Roll Eyes

Kent Huh i should support Cheshire in the minor counties but they play at Chester and Lancs was nearer and mmy grandad lived right behind the ground , a lot of the players in the past used to come to Toft a local team in Knutsford and knew a lot of peoplei do , so all in all Lancs fan , also i bowled against Micheal Atherton while at school , he was abit good then , we slighlty lost that match he opening partner was Mark Crawley who played for Lancs , Notts and Hants

but as i did put for Lancs fans to win and the white rose lot to be relegated is a double celebration

Well said Steve - great achievement from Lancs with a young team and Jimmy Anderson away all year!

Well played Hampshire as well.

When I was a lad, and they still played with a curved bat and wore top hats, my father and I used to drive our pony and trap from Lancaster to Old Trafford to watch Lacashire play.  The best games were the one day Roses matches played on bank holidays,  when you saw Statham bowling to Trueman, and vice versa.

In those days Old Trafford was in LANCASHIRE Angry
