Shorts ok at night or is it a bit chilly for them? We were in Egypt in march and it was quite cold at night.

Hi Jock OH doesn't feel the cold so he can manage in shorts - but quite often puts jeans on - specially if were out for a long evening!!! - I feel the cold so always wear long legs at night and a fleece/cardigan - where you staying in CT??

All depends on the wind Jock. Anywhere in Lanzarote feels quite warm at this time of year in the evenings if it's not windy but if it is (which its bound to be some of the time) you need something to keep the wind out so I normally go for a light jacket or a wrap which more often than not I carry round with me and never use.
