What's your favourite Sandwich? Please let us know to join the competition which starts 21st October. NOTE: Your favourite has to be possible to make in the cafe (no frying facillities) AND must not already exist. To have a look at the actual menu visit

There will be a poll on facebook from October 21st until 31st. The winner will be announced on November 1st and will receive a Cafe Aroma Voucher worth € 50,-

here are 2 of my favourites
cold roast lamb with mint sauce and mayonnaise
and
toasted mash potato served with brown sauce

(don't expect anyone else has my weird tastes!!!!)

Yes... that first one does sound fab! Do you mix the mint sauce in with the mayo? Or do you spread them separately?

Elle I mix the mint sauce in with the mayo then put a big dollop in the roll/sandwich - lovely !!!!

me thinks OH can cook lamb on sunday then its lamb and mint mayo for me next week - can't  wait - (can't lift heavy things out of the oven on crutches so he can do the dinner !!!!)

Egg mayo mixed with crumbled, cremated bacon, or, bacon with melted brie and a cheeky spread of cranberry sauce Grin

sorry guys, but apart from pork, everything else is already available in cafe aroma.

we are looking for fillings which are NOT on the menu!

Ok, mashed potatoes aren't either, but i don't consider that one really LOL

I think that sounds good, Karen, but toasted mash?
That sounds a bit too healthy for me, however a "fried mash" butty with a bit of sauce sounds right up my street.
