I thought I'd start the day by sharing a photo and some thoughts which appeared on FB from Lanzarote this morning.

I also hope the Lanzarote residents on this forum were up and about early enough to see the lovely sunrise.

AMANECIENDO EN ARRIETA Es viernes. Estamos en un día de eso especiales en el calendario: 11.11.11. Volvemos a disfrutar de una salida de sol única, de esas que quedará en el recuerdo. En Arrieta, junto al llamado Chalet. Ha amanecido y el día se presenta con una aurora especial. Disfrutemos del día, del fin de semana, de los 40 días para acabar el año 2011. Para recordar que vivimos en Lanzarote y cada día amanece. Y nuestros ojos pueden verlo.

Yes, was out early walking the dogs and wished I had the camera, lovely sunrise over the sea and three cruise liners also
in the process of docking at Arrecife. What a great day  Grin
