Hi All, I've been reading through the forums and lots of good info on here, credit to all involved...

Just wandering has anyone stayed at the Apartmentos Sol since they have been refurbished? My wife and I along with our 3 year old daughter have booked in there for one week at the end of this month and would appreciate any feedback on the apartments and the area near them.

Hi Shanedow
Not stayed at the Apartmentos Sol - but know the area very well - the apartments always look very clean as you walk past, and they have a nice looking pool area,  and they are in a convienent postion being about a 10/15 minute walk from the beach (depending how quick you walk!!!) you are very near to Cactus Jacks + Legends, although they both do live music they are not too loud - also depends which way the wind is !!!!
The pavements are fine for a buggy - not 100% even in places so watch your step - all in all I think you are well placed for a nice family holiday  Smiley

Welcome to the forum Shanedow. I'm sorry, but i don't know much about CT, only that The Cutty Sark does a nice pint and probably the best chips on the Island!
Enjoy your holiday.

Thanks for the feedback guys... cant wait to get out there now really looking forward to a break.. We have been to Lanzarote 4 times before but have always stayed in Matagorda as we really liked it there... This time round thought we would try Costa Teguise as there will be more there to entertain our 3 year old with like playgrounds, more beaches etc..

actually had a little nosy there the other day, they are recently refurbed and very tastefully, quiet and peaceful from what i could see, they have been taken over by the owners of the nazaret apts in town who have lots of years experience in the hotel trade. i'm sure you'll have a nice holiday.

if as jude says they have been took over by the owners of nazaret, icant see you having any problems the nazeret is one of the best places ive stayed in,and would not hesatate to go back, the only think i would say is wen we stayed close by in june, there was a lot of late night noise from the local late night bars, but to be honest i only noticed it wen i went to the balcony for a ciggy.dont think you will have this at the end of nov.so im sure you will enjoy every min happy hols.

Thats great news about the Nazaret owners owning them, makes me feel more at ease and from what I see on their website it looks fairly nice there.. This time next week we will be about an hour off landing in Lanzarote, cant wait now as havent been over in a couple of years and we just looooooove it there. Again thanks for the feedback everyone...

shane, just down the road from the sol is lanzarote gardens hotel ( turn right , then right again down the street to the clinic at the bottom, right) they have a mini club with disco and kids shows on every night, you dont have to be resident in the hotel. also the legends bar right next door to the sol have a kids ball pool and bouncy castle at the rear.great for 3 year olds!!
happy hols xx

Great stuff Jude, we will try those out they sound like exactly the type of thing we are looking for. Were heading off in the next hour and will be there at approx 7pm this evening so were looking forward to feeling a bit of heat tomorrow morning as it is really miserable here in the south west of Ireland at the moment with Rain and 80 to 100kph winds....  Smiley xx
