Right - F.I.L. has just booked from 15th to 26th - flying out of Liverpool. Less than £100!

120 quid from Manchester (Monarch)....  Wink

We agreed some suitable logistics with my dad over the weekend and as of last night I am holding 5 separate bookings for 3 people (3 singles, 2 returns) and out of that lot have one spare sector which I got because return was cheaper than a single and the only way to get a second seat on an evening flight on the last day of our holiday.

Were the tickets cheap? Absolutely not.

We had a change of plan as I don't think the flights are gonna come down that much,, we are now going Tuesday instead of Thursday, so 2 extra days Smiley Had to book an apartment for 2 nights and a car to get there and back on Thursday to meet my Mum and Dad so we can be added to their car. All comes to £425 less than the flights as they stand now for 22nd! Oh and from Liverpool too! never flown from there!!

Well done Tracey!  Two nights extra too!

My arrangements are bit complicated as me and Mr J are going out separately on 24th but coming back together 15 nights later.  As I'm spending the night of 23rd at my dad's I'm counting that as a 16 night holiday!  The Monarch flight from Luton on the afternoon of 24th is worth a price watch if anyone is still looking as when I went to choose seats for me and my dad there were loads available so I would expect the price to come down.

Well at least we're both sorted now Josie  Cheesy I'm sure the flights will come down as there seems to be too many of them,, monarch have 3 on the same day from Manchester all still available, as I said it was the 28th last year when you noticed them having gone down so I will keep checking  Shocked.  Just happy with my 2 extra days  Grin xx

I took a peek at the Christmas flight prices just now thinking they must be coming down but no, the EZY and MON flights we have seats on on Christmas Eve are still going up to pretty ridiculous levels.  The early Gatwick Easy flight is now at £354 one way with no extras!!

Perhaps they're expecting a last minute rush of people with spare cash saying s*d it!

I'm glad I didn't wait any longer to book.
