Hiya folks....

We get the keys to our rental place when we land on Monday, and we've just discovered there's no bedding or curtains. Is there anywhere in Playa Blanca where I can get a couple of duvets, pillows, sheets & curtains?

I'd rather not go to IKEA unless I have to.
Our shippment of belongings doesn't land until 21st December so we'll need a few bits to see us through....

Cheers,
Juejues xx

Yes ,  Home Zentrum, about 300 metres up the " old" road to Yaiza from the filling station.  It's the big warehouse set back from the road in the same block as Ferrocur.

They also sell a lot of household stuff & bedding in Casa Salvador, in the street just up from the post office.  That's the street that runs parallel to the pedestrianised street.

It's worth the effort to go to IKEA for the value though.  Very good stuff there, and you won't find a lot of nice 100% cotton stuff outside of IKEA either.  They do good towels too at a reasonable price.

We got some lovely pillows in the FT in the Industrial estate on the old main road leaving Playa Blanca. They do lots of household stuff too, as do the Ferreteria (don't know how to spell that!) on the same estate. The best Ferreteria is the one is Tias though, if you are looking for other household/garden stuff. Lovely lighting section too.

For setting up home though, I reckon one good trip to IKEA will set you up nicely!
