not for me smokie, its the hubbys vice i cant stand the stuff!! eurgh !! and he's not worth the spar supermarket price!! two for pound in asda!lol

Gangas in Tias is brilliant for all those kinds of sauces.  Wouldn't be surprised to hear that they have salad cream too Elle, so might be worth a detour some day you're passing by.

Seriously, when I do eventualy make the move I will miss the soap's, I blame my mum for that, but food wise I may miss a chip shop, are there any there?  (British/Italian)?

The new Londoner and the CodFather in PdC are both good (the CodFather in particular is escellent) and I have heard good things about Plaice in the Sun in PB, but never tried it.

Oh we can get Salad Cream in Ropers anyway, B - it's just really expensive here.

MrZandos - best chips on the island are not actually in a chip shop... but in the Cutty Sark in Costa Teguise. Bloody lovely!
