the one in PDC i know is on the Montana Tropical centre on theground floor  which is at the top of the old town , think its may be the one John is talking about and is very good

Yeah, it's called Lanzameat, some of the stuff there is better than what's available in the Spanish supermarkets, especially the lamb, but in general Ropers have a great range of meat and fish. 

Apart from freshly caught fish which you can find in the fishmongers near the port in PdC (not sure about other towns) most of the stuff you will get on the island will be frozen by virtue of it being an island and all that.

no probs its called Lanzameat , i thought it had a website but cant find it , they supply a lot of the resataraunts and if as i suspect they do Marios and places near there the meat is top notch
