Hola a todos!

I’m new here as a member but not new here as a guest, I’ve been lurking behind the curtains for many months so although I’m new to you - you’re not new to me! In fact it’s been and still is a similar situation in lots of the other Lanzarote forums, you know the ‘buggy’ & ‘webby’ ones. Anyway, as it’s all a bit comfortable here I’ve decided to post so nudge up and make room for newbie.

Here’s a few snippets about me if you’re interested. I have many Lanza visits under my belt, I prefer to stay in Playa Blanca around the Villa Real area but more often end up in Faro Park. When I’m over I’m the one sitting on a concrete bench at the end of Calle Irlanda watching the sun set. I’m in the UK working towards the summer here winter there scenario which is 3-4 years away yet.  While I wait I decided to learn Spanish as in my experience making an effort is appreciated locally, I’m doing ok with it.

I keep an eye on the property market even though I’m undecided on the buy / rent option. The little portfolio of properties I watch seems to show that very little is shifting as prices remain set a little on the optimistic side.

Anyway, that’s me for now. Encantada de conocerte y hasta luego.

How do sifter, if that's you reading the MCN then we've got something other than Lanza in common, I mean the bikes not the budgie smugglers you appear to be sporting  Wink

Nice to see you here anyway.

It is and I’m amazed you can see it’s an MCN!

You know I'm not sure, I guess it's just taken me a little while to recover from the Elle 'hanky panky' video. The visual bit I could cope with it's the audible bit that's been the issue.

Welcome Siftersam, there's now't wrong with lurking for a bit.
I lurked for a long time whilst I read every post going back to the start but then jumped in only because I was curious as to whether Bob on here was also a guy I saw on an entirely unconnected forum with a very different username, because both used one particular phrase one day.
I must be a right nosey sod ........and yes, of course it was Bob, "the man with no name".
Very odd and pleasing coincidence.

Nice villa you (I assume) have there.
Nice touch with the WiFi. All important for the kids if you have them with you and for the adults if you leave the older kids at home. It's nice to get away from it all as long as 'it all' is going ok.

Hi  Siftersam (can I call you Sam?) and a big 'official' welcome to the forum.

So just where in the UK are you based?

It doesn't feel nice when it needs painting and I'm in a lazy mood but because we have a pool table, there are always pool cue scuff marks that need painting over and we have to stay on top of all the ordinary painting in case we get a run of bookings and don't get a chance to do much stuff.
Anyway, it'll be right for Wednesday.
ED from this forum has stayed at Villa Azula couple of times and he's hinted that he likes it.  Cheesy
Elle and Alan, who own this forum did the website for it..............pretty scooby isn't it?
