We shall be back to Lanzarote (Playa Blanca, Montana Roja) for two weeks in September, our fifth visit, and wish to try some new restaurants serving good local food ie. fish Smiley Recommendation please would be gratefully received Cheesy

Hiya - not sure which are new since you were here last... but perhaps La Chalanita is one. Well worth visiting for fish. It's on the first floor, just to the left as you face Pedro's on the seafront.

Am sure others will share their favourites too!

I agree with Elle about La Chalanita - fillets of sea bass flambéed in cava is delicious.

If you don't mind high prices (fully justified by the quality) Bodegon Las Tapas is a brilliant place to go for scallops, squid and other shellfish beautifully presented and flown in (not transported by ship) from Northern Spain.  It's on the sea front harbour end.

Thanks all. Hoping we can find a proper authenticate Tapas as-well instead of the usually fake (IMHO) ones of the sea front.  We always make a b-line for Pedros at least twice over the holiday Smiley
