Pasted from Facebook for Flash   http://www.lanzarotedeportiva.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=4319:fernando-alonso-y-felipe-massa-llegan-a-lanzarote&catid=17:motor&Itemid=261

As usual I am trying to skim read the Spanish and have gleaned that the Ferrari team with Alonso and Massa arrived on the island in a party of 25 in the middle of the day on a flight from Madrid and will be training at La Santa.  The article then talks about a lot of fans turning up at the airport as shown in the photo.  Why is the future tense "se concentraron" used for that bit or have I misunderstood?

Wow, they must've been listening to Jensen Button, he spends 6 weeks every year winter training in Lanza, and really does as much as he can to publicise the island.

This will be very goodublicity for the island.
