Good find John.

Shortly after the Marina first opened we thought about buying the right to use a mooring.  I sent the paperwork to our lawyer in Arrecife and she came back with the comment that the Marina owners had no legal right to "sell" moorings and that the permissions for the whole development were questionable.  Seems she was right.

No, but I would imagine that it could make issues like insurance tricky anhd as Josie metnioned cause difficulties when selling on any long term lease or similar.  Does anyone know a good lawyer? Cheesy

I was surprised but pleased that a lawyer in Lanzarote showed true independence which much be difficult for some.

No but the local government may not renew the license in 30 odd years time. That would screw things up big time.
