New Year's Eve!

I know we haven't even seen out the first month of 2012 yet, but we've just made a decision that we are going to welcome in 2013 in Lanzarote!

We bought our villa in January 2008, so we will be celebrating our 5th Anniversary of owning it, and this will be the first time we'll have been there for the New Year celebrations!

Will be looking for advice off our fellow PB fans on where the best place is to be for the fireworks and the craic and of course we will have to decide where to eat on New Year's Eve! 

Will have to start checking out the flights now!  Woo hoo!  HAPPY DAYS!

Good plan Bernie!

Well we and the Flashes got home after 4AM this January 1st, had a great time and did not plan any of it!

Started with drinks at Contin on the seafront at about 8pm and went with the flow from there!

Had a late lunch and watched the sunset at El Golfo on New Year's day where I took the iPhone pic which is my new avatar.  That's becoming a bit of a tradition now so you're welcome to join us next year if you feel like it.

Cheers Josie.  Yes, I guess too much planning could be as bad as too little!  I do think dinner somewhere nice will be important for us, so that would need to be booked in advance, especially if we're looking for something looking out over the beautiful ocean!  Not something we normally get to appreciate on New Year's Eve!  

Our friends Carmel & PJ will be with us for a few days over New Year anyhow, so no matter where we go, I know we'll have a great time.  

I love the sound of El Golfo on New Years Day!!  How perfect! Defo will have that on the Wish List!  

Planning to get to Playa Blanca by the 28th anyhow, so we will have to arrange to meet up with whoever is in town during our stay.
