Mick Wilson (10CC) at Charlie's Bar this weekend

Mick Wilson is best known as the current lead vocalist and guitarist of English band 10cc (Dreadlock Holiday, I'm Not In Love)

Since joining Graham Gouldman (10cc) for an acoustic set at the Green Room in London’s Café Royal over 10 years ago, Mick has become a regular in the latest incarnation of 10cc, taking on Lead Vocal duties and playing percussion, guitar and keyboards.

For over 20 years, Mick has had his own recording and production facility which has been the base for a varied career as a producer and songwriter, as well as composing music for T.V. and live events for companies such as: Sky, BBC, ITV, Marks & Spencer, McDonalds, B.T., Levi’s, Toyota, Mercedes, Ford, Reebok and Mitsubishi and as a singer he has worked with an impressive list of artists such as Sir Cliff Richard, Chris Rea, Kiki Dee, Tony Hadley, Brian May, Donny Osmond, Lionel Richie, Westlife, Cher, Chris Thompson, Alice Cooper.....just to name a few!

In 2011 Mick  released his first solo album, “So The Story Goes” which is a collection of straight ahead pop tunes co-produced and co-written with Graham Gouldman.  He managed to draft Rick Fenn from 10cc in on a couple of tunes, and was able to get his old friend Mal Maddock to play some piano and organ on two of the tracks. Plus one of his personal highlights of his musical career was having Brian Bennett play on “Take Me Dancing”. To have the drummer of the very first record he ever bought, play on his album was a great honour!

As a solo artist Mick has played on various festivals throughout the summer in England, Holland, Belgium and Spain and now it is time to visit Lanzarote!

Mick will perform on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th February at Charlie’s Live Music Bar. He will sing some songs of his own album along with a couple of 10cc tunes and songs from for example Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Prince, Michael Buble, John Waite, KD Lang etc. The admission is FREE!

More information can be found on Charlie’s website:

Extras: After the show Mick will be happy to sign a copy of his CD!
