3G coverage
« on: June 12, 2012, 20:34:47 PM »
HI all.
Just purchased a new kindle with 3G. Any idea of the coverage in or around PDC of the network.
Cheers, in advance.

You can't use 3G on your Kindle in Lanzarote, for general web browsing, as Spain is still considered an experimental area. I know this as I have had lots of contact with with Customer Services at Amazon about this very thing. Previously it was possible. You can access Amazon to buy books, and Wikipedia, but that's it. However... you can access the wifi of various establishments if they give you their passwords... which is what I do when I got to Carmen.

Thanks Elle.
The Nautilus where we stay has free wi-fi so will use that instead if needed.
