Fado Steak House in the centre of Caleta de Fuste is owned by Carlos, and is run passionately as a family business. Established in 1998, locals and holidaymakers alike come time and time again to this excellent restaurant, quite simply because it is that good.

They have a wide and varied menu, with a taste to suit any palate.  Grilled meats are their speciality, and you can even cook your steak at your table, or have your dessert flambéed whilst you watch. BBQs are held on the outside terrace, which always causes a stir… as the smells and sights just make you want to share. Presentation is key here, and no shortcuts have been taken. Attention has been paid to every last thing. This superb Castillo restaurant is open seven days a week (including Christmas and New Year) from 1pm until 11:30 pm.

This venue is extremely family friendly, and you’ll often see the staff teasing the giggling children as they go about their work. Nobody seems to ask directions to Fado Steak House, because people base their directions on them! The restaurant is well established, enjoys a excellent reputation amongst its peers, and is definitely somewhere to add to your “places to eat in Caleta de Fuste”.

The interior is decorated with Rock Star memorabilia, whilst the outside terrace is probably the busiest terrace in Fuerteventura! Group bookings are always welcome and catered for – and you can book these in advance by calling 928 163 527. Christmas and New Year sees them open as usual, and sticking to their excellent menu, for those that can’t face turkey and stuffing.
