The Step Inn
The Step Inn Forum
When it comes to Irish bars in Fuerteventura – they don’t come
much better than The Step Inn, Caleta de Fuste (or Castillo, as
it is also known). For the best pint of Guinness, and to watch
the gee-gees if you fancy a flutter, then come and visit them
here. Situated next to Fado Rock Steakhouse, The Step Inn is
lovingly run by a father and son – Keith and Peter Browne.
Keith and Peter are Dubliners, and were determined to bring a
piece of the River Liffey to Fuerteventura in 2005, and they’ve
certainly succeeded. They are open Sunday to Friday every week
from 11am until late, with a slightly earlier opening of 9am on
a Saturday. They have four plasma televisions, plus a normal one
which shows all the sports you can think of, including boxing,
horse racing, Celtic games, Gaelic football, and more. The bar
is VERY family friendly, and for the kids there’s Wii Nintendo
available – so they can burn off that excess energy whilst you
relax with a drink or three.
There is live entertainment on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10pm
– which is Irish, and also Sinatra / rat Pak – so you’ll be
tapping those toes, and slapping those thighs. The welcome is
always warm – and both Keith and peter work hard to ensure that
you can simply relax and enjoy yourselves.
Hungry too? Then don’t worry, as there is a full menu available
– snacks, all day breakfasts, steaks, and even curries. You
could quite happily park up all day in this craicing Irish bar,
as they really do have everything you need!
They lay claim to providing the best pint of Guinness in Caleta
de Fuste – so the challenge is on! They also have all your
favourite alcopops, plus Magners on draught, Carlsberg,
cocktails – and much more. So stretch out on one of their “much
too comfy” sofas, and enjoy every day at The Step Inn! We think
you’ll not want to leave!
