For great family food in Caleta de Fuste, then The Windmill Bar must be on your list. Located close to the taxi rank, this Canarian style building is set on its own, on the walkway down to the beach, just before you reach CC El Castillo.

This restaurant is open from 2pm until late – and has everything a family could wish for. Their many televisions show plenty of sports, football, Formula One, and all your favourite soap operas.

The beer garden deserves a special mention. It is fully enclosed (ensuring a safe haven for your little treasures), with a playground complete with imitation grass to cushion their landings as they shoot down the slides and swings.

All the food is home made, and their fish and chips are a great favourite with both locals, and holiday makers. The batter is die for, and is made freshly on the premises. We advise you book in advance for the Sunday Roasts – as their sheer popularity means that they go fast! There are also plenty of home made pies and puddings – a real taste of home!

For the daytime, The Windmill Bar cam also supply take aways, beach packs, and flight packs to take all the stress of catering away – leaving you to simply enjoy your holiday.

The staff are extremely friendly, and customer satisfaction is top of their list. On draught, you have Carling, Magners, and Estrella. There are always different offers on the bottled beers – so ask at the bar what is available at the time. There are also all your favourite spirits, alcopops, and cocktails too.

Christmas bookings are already being taken – so don’t hesitate… as these places go fast! This family restaurant is open throughout the whole festive season. But before that, we have Halloween… with plenty going on – so do pop in for the evening’s events at their Halloween Family Party.

Happy hours are from 4pm – 6pm and from 9pm – 11pm.
