La Gomera

The capital, San Sebastian is located on the eastern coast, and is clustered around the ferry port. It is not a hustle and bustle city… but rather enjoys a laid back atmosphere that you must enjoy before heading elsewhere.The beautiful village of Valle Gran Rey is in the west, and the most popular spot on the island for visitors.The road into the town is bedecked by terraced hillsides, and breathtaking views. It is a very pretty town, and the seafront is stylish and clean. There are also beaches surrounding the area.

The centre of the island is more elevated and contains lush woodland – it is popular with campers… and is a protected area.

Hermigua in the north is nestled beautifully between 2 mountain ranges. The area is very green as it is supplied by water filled ravines.
