If you want to catch up with your soaps whilst away from home - then you must drop in to Alfie Moon’s! Recently taken on by Shaun, Gaynor, Anthony and Joanna (all family) – this bar in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote has the warmest of welcomes - you can relax inside with the air-conditioning, or soak up the rays on the terrace, and watch the world go by. 

The bar is open every day (except Xmas day) from 10am until late, and on Sunday from 10am until 11:30pm. A large Dorada beer costs just €3 – which is apparently the cheapest in Punta Limones! There is also a selection of wines, bottled beers, Magners, and all your favourite spirits and liqueurs.

Friday night is “Poker Night”, which kicks off at around 8pm. Saturday night is Quiz and Bingo (subject to demand). Mix that up with “Kiddies Corner”, a collection of goodies to keep children of all ages occupied… all your favourite sports and soaps on the televisions, and bar snacks being available from 10am until 4pm… and you really do have a fantastic place to while away the hours.

This really is a home-from-home and has everything that your "local" back home would provide.

Okay… so all that needs to be done now, is to give you directions. Head away from the port, in the opposite direction to the town centre. The centre ahead of you is called Punta Limones. Make your way around to the right hand side – and you will find Alfie Moon’s between Banco Santander , and Spar.

This friendly themed bar welcomes with open arms, both residents and holidaymakers alike. A home from home for sport and soap-lovers everywhere!
