Now here is a real treat for you. Upstairs in the Rubimar Shopping Centre is the Playa Blanca Bowling Club. This venue is a firm favourite with residents and holiday makers alike. Open from 10am until 2am every day, what better way to either keep the kids occupied or maybe have a competition with your friends. There are tournaments available for the regulars, and special events hosted that you are welcome to get involved in. There are 10 lanes, and you can choose to have bumpers up or down, selective by player, rather than for the whole game, so that players of all levels are catered for… there are the digital score screens you would expect, and table service from the bar so your game is not disturbed. The team take your enjoyment of your visit very seriously, and they are constantly looking at ways to improve the already excellent service that is provided.

Every Saturday there is a free BBQ too – from 9:30pm. A great family evening out… so you can have a couple of games of bowling, a few drinks, and free food! It doesn’t get much better than that!

This Lanzarote Bowling Club has much more than bowling. There are also 2 air-hockey tables, 5 pool tables, 12 internet stations, free WiFi access, darts, spacious outdoor terrace with views across to the Marina Rubicon, large bar area, hot and cold bar snacks, football tables, video games, fruit machines… the list is endless, and is added to constantly.

The standard price for 1 adult is 1 game for €6, 2 games for €10, 3 games for €12. For kids it is 1 game for €3, 2 games for €5, and 3 games for €6! There are also memberships available, as well as many other discounts for group bookings, and repeat visits too. Most of the staff speak excellent English, and are extremely attentive… whilst also being encouraging and supportive as you practice your Español. The bar prices are very, very reasonable too. Sandwiches, hot-dogs and pizzas are available from the bar, as well as ice-creams for the littluns.
