If this one thing we all love – it is Chinese food. Rarely do we go on holiday for a week or two without seeking out a good Chinese Restaurant. The Emperor Restaurant in Costa Teguise, owned and managed by Chen and his family, is perfectly placed to satisfy your cravings.

Open from 12:30pm until 12 midnight every day, this Playa Bastian Restaurant is extremely popular with both locals, and visiting guests.

This air-conditioned restaurant in Playa Bastian has an extremely varied Chinese and Cantonese menu, with such favourites as “Fried Chicken With Satay Sauce”, “Steak With Oyster Sauce”, and “King Prawns Chinese Style”. Soups, starters, duck, chicken, beef, pork, and fish dishes are all available – accompanied by the obligatory rice and noodles. They also have a good range of specialties and home-made desserts.

The staff speak Spanish, English and German – and happily tend to your every needs whilst you eat. They have a good range of local beers, as well as all the alcopops, spirits and soft drinks you could wish for. They also provide a good cocktail menu – just ask when ordering. Of course the entire menu is available for take-away too.

To find the Emperor Restaurant, come into Costa Teguise from the Arrecife circunvalacion. Head along Avenida Las Palmeras. Take a right turn just before the Lanzarote Bay Hotel (on the roundabout). The Emperor is next door to Las Olas restaurant (also owned by the family)
