The Galeria Bar in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, is a sort of “home from home” local where Sue and her friendly staff welcome you. For over 10 years now, this cracking little bar has enjoyed meeting new friends, and welcoming many returning ones.

You can spend your day staring out across the sea to Fuerteventura, watch the ferries coming in and out, people watch, and if you time it right… you can even watch one of Playa Blanca’s stunning sunsets. The atmosphere in the Galeria Bar is extremely relaxed and friendly, and is usually frequented by nationalities from all over… which gives it a truly cosmopolitan feel.

The wide varieties of beers and spirits are all at extremely competitive prices, and the cocktail list is endless. If you can’t find your perfect cocktail – then ask the staff anyway… and they will do their utmost to accommodate you. Do also check out their cocktails of the week… advertised inside on one of their boards. Irish Coffees are always available, and can be made to your choice. Of course tea and coffee is available at any time of the day or night. Stella, Strongbow, Guinness, and Dorada are all available on draught.

A real favourite of the customers of Galeria Bar are the home made fruit scones, which are served with butter, cream and jam… and a cup of tea or coffee. There are also ice creams for the kiddies.

All the major sports are shown in the Galeria Bar… but do get there early… as these games are always extremely popular. Bar snacks are available from 1pm until 5pm.

There are a number of internet pods available, and WiFi is also on offer in the bar – what better way to spend your day than to catch up with friends and family whilst enjoying the breathtaking views across Playa Blanca.

Families are always welcomed in the Galeria – and access from the road behind the seafront is excellent for disabled persons. Galeria bar is open every day of the week, from 1pm until 1am.

To find the Galeria Bar from the seafront… head towards the Rubicon Marina from the town centre. Galeria Bar is situated on the first floor, just before you reach the sharp bend around towards Playa Dorada. If coming from the town centre, head away from the taxi rank, towards the church. Turn right at the church, and go through the car park in the central area, in the direction of the seafront. The Galeria Bar is situated on the road that runs parallel to the promenade. The Galeria Bar is accessible both from the seafront, and from the road.
