Cerveceria La Terraza Forum
When shopping in Lanzarote, a
visit to the largest shopping centre in Lanzarote is a must.
This is the Deiland Shopping Centre in Playa Honda. However, one
of the real treats of this shopping centre is the Cerveceria La
Terraza Heineken (also known locally as La Terraza) at the rear
of the centre. This friendly bar has a huge expanse of terrace
space, and is perfect for a drink or a snack before, during, or
after, your shopping. It is also one of the most popular bars
during the evenings in Playa Honda. There is a bar indoors, and
also outside on the huge terrace.
Open every day of the week from 10am until 2:30 am, this
friendly bar has good music, videos, 7 television screens
showing all sports including Spanish football and the Showtime
system which shows all the Premiership games and other English
football games. There are also 2 pool tables and a Spanish dardo
(darts board).
This bar can easily accommodate 200 people very comfortably. The
staff all speak Spanish, English and German and have been
trained extremely professionally by Juan who has owned the bar
since 2004. He arrived in Lanzarote in 1993 after a 3 year stint
studying in Nottingham, England. This ensures the warmest of
welcomes.
Your favourite beers such as Heineken and Cruzcampo are
available on draught – but it is the bottled beers that are a
real draw. Juan has 35 different bottled beers from all over the
world for you to try. Of course there are also all your chosen
spirits, mixers, soft drinks, and hot drinks available. There is
always hot fresh coffee on the go, as well as freshly squeezed
fruit juices. There is a vast cocktail menu including Special
Bacardi Mojitos, Carpinhas, Margaritas and Daiquiris. If you are
feeling peckish, then available are pizzas, bocadillos,
sandwiches, cakes, ice creams and more.
The Cerveceria La Terraza Heineken bar is the proud sponsor of
the Playa Honda Commitments Cricket Club, who play in the
Lanzarote Cricket League.
There is plenty of parking available around the shopping centre
or on the waste ground at the Arrecife end of the centre.
