Bar Oporto in Playa Honda, Lanzarote opened under the ownership of Arnold and Marino in February 2010.

This popular bar has a wonderful ambient feel to it – and it is here that you can really feel part of the crowd as you watch the Spanish football. They have put in two very large screens ready for the 2010 World Cup.

There is also food available – simply ask at the bar what their current specials are. One thing to note is that their popular suckling pig barbecue is available on Saturdays – so get there early to avoid disappointment.

The bar is open from 10am until 2am every day. There is an open area, and also a terrace so you can soak up the sun whilst enjoying a cold drink. Spanish bottled beers are available, as well as your favourite spirits, mixers and soft drinks. Dorada is available on draught.

To find Bar Oporto, come from the road behind Deiland (Calle Chimidas), keeping the Deiland Shopping Centre on your right. At the junction turn left into Calle Princess Ico. Take the second turning on your right into Calle San Borondon, and then the 4th or 5th turning on the left into Calle Guanarama. Bar Oporto is at number 37.
