Terrace Bistro

In early 2009, a new bistro opens in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. Called The Terrace Bistro, this is sure to be a welcome addition to CC Papagayo, the shopping centre behind Playa Dorada.

Mark and Pauline are bringing their culinary skills, and friendly welcoming personalities, to the town with a rich menu full of the heartiest meals you could wish for. Adamant that their food will always be prepared by themselves, and with the freshest of local ingredients, the people of Playa Blanca are already licking their lips with anticipation.

The evening menu will be wide and varied, and with daily specials constantly changing, so there will always be something new for you to try. However, Mark’s showpieces will definitely be his pies. Good home made heart goodness, with chunky fillings, and the best pastry! They will also be providing pasta dishes, utilizing Pauline’s special pasta sauces, hot and sizzling platters, and much much more! The daytime menu will include of course an all day breakfast, and with lighter meals for while the sun shines. Children are well looked after, with plenty of dishes to please kiddies’ tastes. Food will be available from 9am until 10pm, every day except Thursday (closed during the day), and Sunday (closed during the evening). Drinks will of course be available until late. There will be a daytime menu, and an evening menu.

The Terrace Bistro will have indoor and outdoor seating, and with two terraces from which you can watch the world go by.

Mark and Pauline are very welcome new faces in Lanzarote, having spent their recent years in Dubai. But Lanzarote just has that special ingredient for them… and so they have made it their home. Both Mark and Pauline are keen to promote the high quality of their meals – and once you’ve been for that first time… you’ll be back again and again!

To find The Terrace in Playa Blanca, head for Dorada Beach. Head up the stairs in the centre of the complex just behind, and The Terrace Bistro is on your right (formerly Charruas).
