In April 2007, in the Rubimar Shopping Centre… the Playa Blanca bar called Buccaneer was reopened under new management. Pepé has taken this stunning bar, and is turning it into a Playa Blanca hotspot!

Once you arrive at the shopping centre, head up to the first level, and you can’t miss the large porthole windows that decorate the bar. Upon entering, you will find yourself in a beautiful venue… spacious… airy… immaculate… There are comfy seats for lounging around whilst watching Sky Sports or Setanta on the 4 large televisions, a large bar, circular dance floor, and plenty of seating at the back of the venue – complete with views over towards the Marina Rubicon. When the shopping centre closes at 11pm, you can still get access to the Buccaneer, by heading round to the rear of the centre from the outside, and heading up the stairs to bring you through the Bowling Club next door.

The Buccaneer is open on Thursdays and Fridays, with themed nights and much more, from 9pm until the early hours.

Private functions are also catered for, with a capacity for 100 people to be more than comfortable. The kitchen will be opening soon too – so watch this space for further information.

You would expect a stunning Lanzarote venue such as this, to charge luxury prices too – but no. Between 10pm and midnight it is “Happy Hour” and with “Buy One Get One Free”.

If you have talent, or you simply like enjoying yourself and having fun… then come to the Karaoke Disco Competition nights, and boogy down on the lit dance floor, where you can sing, dance or just enjoy others’ performances. With the friendliest atmosphere and attentive staff all adamant that you should enjoy yourself, The Buccaneer Karaoke Disco Pub MUST be on your list
