From an outsiders point of view, I have read a lot of comments from English people complaining about the "English pound" always going north, yet these same people want to maintain the union. I find it odd. ???

I think the English should get a vote and one of the options should be building a bloody big wall and introducing passport controls to keep the buggers oot  :P ;D

What about the Welsh and the N. Irish.  The press seems to behave  as though it's just a Scotland vs England issue.

If the union breaks up, the Scots in England should be deported, starting with all those in Westminster and on Radio 4.  Oh, and Burns Night would be banned in Lanzarote  ;D

I'd like to point out that I only said the wall should be an option - not that we should necessarily take it  8) ;D

Do you think their voting paper will say "Do you want an independent Scotland tick Eye or Nay"

CG is so going to knack me when she sees all this  :o

Wonder if the Scots have given any thought to what will happen to their currency should they become independent.......I know at the moment in the Border areas (such as Berwick/Carlisle etc.) Scots and English currency are accepted.....not so further south though.....surely it will create a Channel Islands/Isle Of Man(where their currency is not legal tender on the mainland U:K) situation where you have to change your currency before entering ¨¨The Rump´´as England will soon be known as.
Which will cause problems over here as Scottish notes may not be accepted as an exchange currency meaning either change currencies in Scotland at the set rate or have the ridiculous situation of changing Scots notes for English notes so you can exchange it over here for Euros ?

Thinking about it, why complicate it by giving them a 'no' option  :-\

Well I'm voting against - if I'm still in Scotland by then !!!

Our Football's C**p, our Rugby's C**p, Andy Murray became a good tennis player by LEAVING Scotland, and none of you would have heard of Sir Chris Hoy if he had not migrated down to Manchester to be part of Team GB !!!!
And that's only the start !!!
