Well....Here I am.....3 cups of tea & a packet of chocolate biscuits later !!  ;D ;D Ahhh Tracy's fine... We've had a good natter....
Holly, when you say, you decided against staying "there", did you mean Atlantis or PDC in general ?

Mick

Ah Mick - sorry for missing this last night. I meant PDC - didn't get as far as looking at accomodation there once I thought the location itself wouldn't suit me. But looks like I may have been misguided. Matagorda sounds more and more intreresting too...

Ahhhh I'm with ya now Holly...
Naaaaa, PDC's fine. Like anywhere else, its what you make of it yourself I s'pose; and, as I said in my interview, it takes a little bit of time to find your favourite places. I've been fortunate really, as a lot of my holidays HAVE been of longer duration than the normal two weeks, so I've been able to have a good old mooch around at a more leisurely pace. As for it being noisy, again...not really... I think like most places in Lanza, PDC always seems to have a good mix of all age groups. I know that some people may disagree, but I personally, really like what they've done with the Avienda in PDC (complete refurbishment) I know, as I was over at the time, when the work was being carried out it was a right old mess, but the end result is fantastic; new pavements, loads of walking space on the beach side of the road, new trees and shrubbery, a new cycle track etc. The only down side is the "width" of the road. It's now one way, and, pretty narrow, especially for the likes of coaches, buses, emergency & delivery vehicles etc. But, as I say, PDC is where I feel at home, and thats why I go  ;D
I think with regards Matagorda, Gill is definately the person to speak to.......Over to you Gill !!  ;) ;D
As far as being "misguided" with PB Holly....NO WAY have you been misguided luvvey. PB is beautiful. You'll certainly catch no harm whatsoever down there cocker. I've had a ride down on numerous occasions on the bus from PDC; visiting friends or just generally havin a wander around for a day or so...it's lovely. With the exception of the usual bars, restaurants, AND OF COURSE, being lozzed on a "certain couples" sun terrace with a few lamb butties n a glass of vino  ::) !!, My favourite place in PB is the bridge that goes over the harbour, where all the fish congregate !! Ohhhh I can and sit and watch em all day long  ;D with a glass of vino of course !!  ;D ;D ;D

Oh no Mick! Didn't mean misguided re PB. Sorry if I gave that impression. I meant possibly I'd been misguided about PDC. You're right - PB is darling. Thanks for all the insider perspective - it helps me (and presumably others out there - Hi all you lovely Guests!  ;)) get to know Lanza better without even being there (yet - or - at the moment) ;D

Gill I'd really appreciate some low-down on Mattagorda as I've seen you guys say good things on here - relaxed etc. But, come to think of it, maybe you'd rather keep it quiet?   ::) ;D xx
